Core Design Service

From design
to deployed.

Most projects die in the handoff between designer and developer. I remove the handoff: the person who designs your product in Figma is the same one who builds and ships it - fast, SEO-ready, and true to the design.

Overview

Design and development, one accountable person

My design and development service covers the full journey: brand and UI designed in Figma, then built into a production site or app with the modern stack that fits the job - Next.js with Tailwind and shadcn for products, Webflow or clean static builds for marketing sites, and no-code tools where they genuinely save time. AI-assisted development is part of the workflow, which means senior-level output at indie-team speed.

This isn't outsourced or passed through an agency chain. I build my own products the same way - GliaKit ships as a wired Next.js + shadcn boilerplate, and TheKidsTales runs as a full content platform - so the code you get follows the same standard I hold my own launches to: performant, SEO fundamentals baked in, and easy to maintain after handover.

Process

From Figma to production

01

Design Foundation

Brand, layout, and a token-driven UI system in Figma - named to map straight onto the code that follows.

02

Build

The design becomes real: responsive, componentized, and faithful to the file - because the builder designed it.

03

Polish & SEO

Performance passes, accessibility checks, structured data, and clean metadata - the details Google and users both feel.

04

Launch & Handover

Deployment, analytics, and documentation - so your team can edit and extend the site without breaking it.

Proof, not promises

I ship my own products this way

GliaKit is the clearest example: a design system built in Figma and shipped as a production Next.js + shadcn boilerplate - auth, payments, database, and email wired, with the Figma tokens and the code speaking the same language. TheKidsTales runs as a full story platform, and this portfolio itself is a hand-built static site tuned for Core Web Vitals.

That's the standard your project gets: the same person owning design and development means decisions get made once, quality survives the build, and the live product is the mockup - not an approximation of it.

Whatever genuinely fits the project: Next.js with Tailwind and shadcn for products and SaaS, Webflow or hand-built static sites for marketing pages, and no-code tools where they save you money without costing quality.

Yes - one person, end to end. I use modern AI-assisted development as part of the workflow, which is how a studio of one ships at team speed, but every design decision and every line that goes live is reviewed and owned by me.

Absolutely. If you already have designs, I start from your file and build it faithfully - and I'll flag anything that will hurt usability or performance before it gets built.

A landing page or marketing site usually ships in 2-3 weeks. An MVP or product build typically runs 4-8 weeks depending on scope - we define the timeline together on the discovery call.

Yes - every build ships with clean heading structure, meta and Open Graph tags, structured data, a sitemap, and performance tuned for Core Web Vitals. Ranking takes content and time, but the technical foundation is done right from day one.

Yes. Rebuilds and migrations are common - including moving from WordPress or a legacy stack - with redirects handled properly so you keep your existing SEO rankings.

You get a documented handover so your team can maintain the site, and I offer ongoing support retainers for updates, new pages, and feature work if you'd rather keep one person on it.

Ship the whole thing.

One engagement from brand and design to a live, production-ready build.
